Abstract

It is a fact that the 21st century offers us a range of possibilities, previously inconceivable for an ordinary person. We have diversified our activities to the point that we can talk to several people at the same time, while we receive and send information and develop new businesses, ideas, studies. But this range of possibilities has also been accompanied by much greater stress and ruptures that lead to emotional ailments that become chronic and overshadow our daily lives. When traditional medicine fails or cannot offer a definitive solution, human beings and their incessant search for answers have found the perfect adjuvant in some so-called alternative therapies. This issue of Footprint of the Word seeks to bring us closer to this alternative for the growth and harmonization of the human being. To do this, we interviewed a woman from Hidalgo who has sixteen years of experience exploring and practicing this type of treatment.
