Las Universidades Como Gestoras Del Cambio

Resumen
Las universidades son agentes del cambio, con el tiempo han sido reconocidas como parte importante de la conciencia de la sociedad. Han sido protagonistas de movimientos sociales, origen de modelos económicos y creadoras de mentes que han definido el sentido de la humanidad. El siglo XXI representa una oportunidad para erigirse en agentes con respuestas a los retos de hoy. Sólo así mantendrán su acreditada posición social. Ahora sus esfuerzos deben estar enfocados al desarrollo humano y al crecimiento económico para construir una mejor humanidad.
Este artículo analiza su compromiso para generar una ingeniería mexicana propia, a través de la investigación, así como la obligación del Estado para generar políticas públicas que prioricen esta actividad académica. Un verdadero desarrollo precisa el desarrollo tecnológico, que debe darse en las universidades: centros creadores de conocimiento.

Abstract
The universities are agents of the change, with the time they have been recognized as important part of the society´s conscience. They have been protagonists and creative of social movements, origin of economic models of minds that have defined the goal of the humanity. The 21st century represents an opportunity to be raised in agents answering today´s challenges. Only this way they will support his favored social position. Now his efforts must be focused on the human development and on the economic growth to build a better humanity.
This article analyzes his commitment to generate a Mexican own engineering, across the investigation, as well as the government bond to generate public policies that prioritize this academic activity. A real development needs the technological development, which must be given in the universities: creative centers of knowledge.
