On an arid land, in a corner of our country, they cross the tracks of a train that leads to uncertain destinations. Thousands of migrants pass every day to a place they don't know and without any promise; It is in Ixtepec, Oaxaca, where the hope of many dies in the face of discrimination, abuse and crime. Alejandro Solalinde, a spectator of a thousand and one migrant stories, decided ten years ago to face this situation. It is from the hostel "Hermanos en el Camino" that seeks to support those who have had no choice but to leave their country and seek another that theirs did not know how to give them. After a few years of coordinating this shelter, Solalinde captured the attention of the media and the population, also making visible the problem she defended. He soon became an exponent of human rights in the country. Always controversial, he never takes the time to know how to tell the truth, he just pronounces it as it is. In February 2017, the priest visited the Universidad La Salle Pachuca; put on the table the debate about the role of universities and religion in the face of social injustice. It was in an interview arranged with Dr. Humberto Mejía Zarazúa and myself that he expressed his thoughts on the subject.
