El texto está dividido en cuatro partes con una unidad temática por cada sección. Así, tenemos cuatro problemáticas abordadas básicamente en el texto: ) la cuantificación de los contenidos programados en la televisión y la medición de los mensajes de contenido violento que se ofrecen; 2) El impacto en el receptor del mensaje violento de la televisión;
3) La relaciones establecidas y determinadas por el mensaje televisivo en el seno familiar; 4) La lucha social en contra de los intereses comerciales de la televisión.
