Resumen
El trabajo de investigación reseñado en este artículo, tiene como objetivo presentar el proceso de liderazgo que se vive en las escuelas, lo cual influye en el quehacer del docente y transforma el perfil de alumno. Los directivos tradicionalmente conciben y constituyen su papel en la escuela basados en un enfoque autocrítico y verticalista, para afirmar esto, se partió del estudio de algunas posturas teóricas enarboladas por Pierre Bordieu y Passeron, Charles Slater y Chiavenato, entre otros.
A manera de conclusión, se presentan las posibles transformaciones que podrían dar inicio al proceso de cambio de perfil de un directivo tradicional a uno innovador cuya gestión se base en procesos de comunicación e interacción entre lo pedagógico y lo organizativo.

Summary
The article review of this research, aims to present the leadership process in schools, as such has influence in teacher’s work and transforms student’s profile. Directors traditionally conceive and represent their role in school based on a self-critical and vertical approach, to state this, we started from the study of some theoretical postures raised by Pierre Bordieu and Passeron, Charles Slater and Chiavenato, amongst others.
As a conclusion, it presents possible transformations that could lead the profile’s change process from a traditional director to an innovative one, in which the administration is based on communication processes and the interaction between pedagogical and organizational matters.
