The Comic Books of El Buen Tono (1904- 1922). Lithography at the service of industry is a book that seduces the reader from the outside; for on its simple cover there is a modest vignette showing a peculiar character with large round eyes, a top hat and plaid pants, tasting, of course, a cigarette, and on his arm a young lady with a large hat and casual dress, also with a cigarette, both characters with wings and flying over the city. The reader can only wonder where did such a peculiar cartoon come from? With such a basic question, or out of simple curiosity, the reader can delve into the world of industrial lithography of the early twentieth century.
