The book Sex, love and violence has been written by the therapist Cloé Madanes, whose approach to family therapy is strategic. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires. In addition, she has worked as a teacher and clinical assistant in Washington and Maryland, being recognized with several special mentions because she has addressed family violence, integrating respect for human rights in her therapy (Fundació Concepció Juvanteny, 2008).
