Abstract

The central theme of what José Agustín narrates in his book the counterculture in Mexico is very interesting and includes some things that exist today.

It narrates the history and the meaning of the rebels without a cause, pachucos, beatniks, jipis, jipitecas, punks, cholos and bands that have been part of the countercultural movement in Mexico and in much of the world.
