Abstract

This research is based on the question "can genetically modified corn reduce the percentage of child malnutrition in the state of Hidalgo?" Knowing the benefits that this type of corn has, to respond to it, a historical-scientific review is made about corn, biotechnology and the advances of science in the field of transgenetics for foods. In addition, four professionals in the area are interviewed to help understand the topic and validate the proposed hypothesis, to finally offer avenues of study for this important topic.
