Abstract
This issue of Xihmai magazine is a way of contributing to the enhancement of cultural heritage in Mexico. The Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, also known as the Camino Real de la Plata or Camino Real a Santa Fe, was an important communication route during the period when Mexico was the Viceroyalty of New Spain. Along the rough road that sought to reach the unexplored regions of northern Mexico, important regions were linked by their richness in minerals, especially silver. Today, a large part of this road has been recognised as part of the cultural heritage of humanity.
