One of the primary functions of any university is the generation of knowledge. At La Salle University Pachuca, this function is focused on the betterment of individuals and social transformation, which would not be possible without dissemination aligned with the needs of a society immersed in constant change and requiring critical thinking to analyze reality. This issue of the Xihmai journal features five articles and a review. The texts address topics such as: Biopolitics and Neoliberalism; Cyberconsumption; Characteristics of entrepreneurship and business incubation processes in Mexico; Unveiling the past: the parish, now cathedral, of Tulancingo; Conceptualizing Mexican nationalism through political discourse; and a review of Zygmunt Bauman's book on education in a liquid world.
