One of the substantive functions of every University is the extension of culture and social transformation, but for Universidad La Salle Pachuca, which focuses its educational work on caring for the person, based on a humanist philosophy, it represents the most important commitment with our mission, which consists of seeking a fairer and more humane world. For this reason we understand that currently the University has to leave its own walls, its own classrooms so that the different areas of knowledge can have a close link with the problems and needs that civil society lives in order to counteract them. Edgar Morin already pointed out: "you cannot reform the institution without having reformed the minds, but you cannot reform the minds if the institutions have not been reformed before." In this sense, the role of education in the process of building a fairer society is becoming increasingly relevant, as Carlos Fuentes also pointed out at the time: "Education cannot solve all of society's problems, but without education it would be impossible".
