Román Gubern, en este libro, describe cómo el hombre tiene la facultad de pensar y ha visto al mundo. Se remonta a la época donde pintaba en la pared, donde trabajaba en lienzo... nos lleva a pensar en la manera en que el pensamiento ha ido cambiando y sobre todo la forma en cómo se perciben las cosas. El hombre ha formado en su cabeza imágenes que representan una cosa y luego otra. El arte de las imágenes es meramente una percepción de quien del autor, ya que unas pueden ser engaños bien articulados y en lugar de representar una cosa bella o romántica, puede representar algo malo o enfermizo.
