Abstract

This research consisted of knowing the educational phenomenon of indigenous peoples in Mexico, covering the course of their origin to the present. Subsequently, some communities were visited in the state of Hidalgo and Veracruz to obtain information from the current reality, this observation and the performance of interviews were found some deficiencies of formal education in these communities. Therefore, it was possible to know the educational system of indigenous peoples in Hidalgo and in Veracruz both documentary and practically, recognizing factors that need a transformation: schools, teachers, classes, students, materialdidactic among others.
