This issue of Xihmai is faithful to the spirit and philosophy of the magazine, as well as to the meaning of its name (humanity in the Otomí hñahñü language), since for issue 25, corresponding to the January-June 2018 semester, are published five texts belonging to various fields of study of the humanities and social sciences: politics, communication and philosophy. "I am a man, nothing human is foreign to me," says the Roman comedian Terence in his work The Tormentor of Himself; This phrase, quoted on many occasions and in various contexts, is also justified in the pages of this issue, since Universidad La Salle Pachuca, aware of the national and international agenda, maintains its commitment to research, culture, and science. . From different angles and perspectives, the studies presented below confirm not only human complexity, but also current social problems, ranging from the investigation of public resources and their administration in the state of Hidalgo to daily discrimination against women. , going through the systematization of the repression of citizens and the adoption of minors in the last military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983) and the analysis of a work belonging to the manga genre as a contemporary cultural phenomenon.Downloads
