The stealth power of the media

This text aims to show the influence that the media, especially audiovisual media, have on public opinion, and how they have been wasted to bring the masses closer to academic content and information. For this research, the topic of neutrinos is addressed, particles that are still an enigma for Physics but which are believed to be of great relevance to understand many aspects of the universe and humanity, in conjunction with the television series Stranger Things (2016). ) which in its plot shows the possibility that a “dark” world created from neutrinos exists beneath the habitable one, to see how interest and motivation change when a complex topic is introduced through something everyday or socially popular.
