Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in four telesecundarias in School Zone 55, which include the municipalities of Juárez Hidalgo and Tlahuiltepa, in the state of Hidalgo; These communities are: San Lorenzo Iztacoyotla, Santa María, Acapa and San Nicolás. The reason for this work was based on the need to identify the possible causes of school dropouts in the aforementioned area, which is why the research process began. It began with a first approach to the community where the aforementioned problem was identified, then the entire investigation was supported with the help of theorists and other research that served as a reference to the problem investigated. Subsequently, the instruments were constructed that would be applied to the different subjects such as students, parents and teachers, to whom interviews and checklists were applied. After its application, an analysis of the data obtained was carried out, which showed that school dropout, in three of the communities, is due to the lack of economic resources and in one of them to the lack of interest on the part of the students. students. It concluded with some proposals to prevent school dropouts and try to work together with parents and teachers.
