Vaping in young people from Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico

The present research is carried out at the La Salle University in Pachuca, state of Hidalgo, Mexico and aims to provide an overview of the consumption of electronic cigarettes or vaping devices in young people locally. Briefly, the history and origin of these electronic devices, the health risks, and the current general panorama are presented, both nationally and in countries like Colombia. As part of the methodology, a survey was applied to first semester students of different university careers and the results were conclusive, there is a strong and serious consumption of these devices, creating addiction and harmful effects on health.
